Abdi Nazemian (born 1976) is an Iranian-American author, screenwriter, and producer known for crafting immersive and emotionally resonant stories, particularly within the young adult and LGBT genres. Growing up immersed in literature, film, and television fueled his passion for storytelling. Nazemian’s writing style is characterized by its lyrical prose, nuanced character development, and exploration of complex relationships, often set against evocative backdrops. He gained significant recognition with his debut novel, The Walk-In Closet, which earned a Lambda Literary Award for LGBT Debut Fiction in 2015.
