
David Housewright is an American author specializing in crime fiction, particularly known for his intricately plotted and atmospheric detective novels set in the Midwestern United States. Born in St. Paul, Minnesota in 1955, he’s a member of the Private Eye Writers of America and has earned an Edgar Award. Housewright’s writing style is characterized by gritty realism, memorable characters, and a strong sense of place, frequently drawing upon the landscapes and cultures of the regions he depicts.
