Jennifer Finney Boylan (born June 22, 1958) is an American author, transgender activist, and professor at Barnard College. Boylan is known for her memoir, "Good Boy: My Life in Seven Dogs," which explores the profound impact of canine companionship. Her writing often delves into themes of identity, relationships, and social commentary, frequently exploring personal experiences with honesty and a distinct, often introspective, style.
