L.R. Wright, originally Laurali Rose Appleby, was a Canadian author who penned numerous mystery novels under the pseudonym L.R. Wright. Born in Saskatoon in 1939, she later moved to Abbotsford and developed a distinctive style characterized by cozy mysteries with strong female protagonists and small-town settings. Wright's writing often focused on domestic intrigue and puzzles, appealing to readers who enjoy character-driven stories and suspense. Sadly, she passed away in 2001 following a battle with breast cancer.
