She penned over 55 books across several series and standalone titles, establishing herself as a successful e-book author. Daheim's career began with a background in journalism and public relations, and she later became the first female Editor at the University of Washington’s student newspaper, The Daily. Her writing style is characterized by engaging plots, strong female characters, and a focus on historical settings, particularly within her Bed-and-Breakfast and Emma Lord series.
