Shamini Flint, born in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia in 1969, is a multi-faceted author currently based in Singapore. Initially a corporate lawyer at Linklaters, she transitioned to writing in 2004, starting with children's books focused on endangered species and environmental themes, exemplified by titles like "Turtle Takes a Trip" and "Jungle Blues". Flint is best known for her Inspector Singh Investigates crime fiction series, which has achieved international success. She has also written a fantasy series "The Seeds of Time" and its sequel "Journey of the Chosen".
