Sharon Ahern is an American author of fiction, primarily known for her prolific output within the action-adventure, science fiction, horror, and suspense genres. Born in 1948, she began her writing career in 1984 with "The Takers" and continued to publish extensively for decades. Ahern's writing is often characterized by its fast-paced plots and focus on themes of war, survival, and dystopian scenarios. Ahern's work was significantly impacted by the death of her husband and co-author, Jerry Ahern, with whom she collaborated on nearly all of her novels, creating a consistent partnership that spanned many years. She often collaborated with Bob Anderson as well.
Throughout her career, Ahern has authored numerous series including the Ed Mulvaney series, the Rourke Chronicles, and the Survivalist series, collectively producing over 38 books.
