Julianne Pachico, born in 1985 in Cambridge, England, is a British-American writer whose work delves into complex themes of memory, violence, and cultural identity, frequently centered around the Colombian context. Pachico’s writing style is characterized by a lyrical and atmospheric approach, often blending personal narratives with broader social and historical explorations. She holds a PhD from UEA’s Creative Writing MA program and draws upon her upbringing, having spent her childhood in Cali, Colombia, where her parents worked in international development.
